Burn Out

  • Greg´s appearance: Recovered

  • 6 Scenes: with Grissom, Nick
    and Sara

  • Shippyness: G/G, G/S

  • What we learn about him:
  • Misc.: He's got the coroner's
    inquest coming up.
Events:

First Scene:
EXT. FISHER RESIDENCE - FRONT -- DAY:
Nick is holding a hand-sized device and is testing the car hood. Greg turns the corner of the house and walks over to Nick. They tell each other what they found out. Then Nick walks over to the prints on the concrete marked by evidence markers and rulers. Nick and Greg look at the prints.

Second Scene:
INT. CSI - GARAGE -- DAY:
Sara examines the back seat of Carl Fisher's burned car. Greg checks the front seats.

Third Scene:
INT. CSI - LAB - DAY:
Loud music blasts inside the room when Grissom walks in. He grimaces and turns the music off. Then he complains to Greg about the loud music. Sara interferes and says she is the one who turned the music on. Grissom doesn't say anything. He heads over to Greg and they talk about the case. After Greg has left the room Sara asks Grissom to be a little nicer to him because of all the stuff Greg is going through at the moment.

Fourth Scene:
INT. CSI - HALLWAY -- DAY:
Greg pushes a cart with gasoline samples on it over to Hodges, who waits for him in the doorway to Trace. Hodges makes a joke but Greg doesn't smile. Hodges takes the cart and heads back into Trace while Greg turns and leaves.

Fifth Scene:
INT. CSI - TRACE LAB -- DAY:
Hodges processes a gasoline sample from a container. The results print out. He takes his phone out and calls Greg to tell him.

Sixth Scene:
INT. POLICE DEPARTMENT - NIGHT:
Greg enters the hallway. He hands Grissom the folder and tells him the results. Grissom is surprised and thanks Greg.

Best Dialogs:
Sara: "People are so predictable."
Greg: "Lucky for us."

Greg: "Hey, got some gasoline samples for you."
Hodges: "Thanks, Greg. It's gonna take a little while to fill my tank. Why don't I get you a funnel? - Kidding."

My Comment:
Greg looks better. The marks of his beating had faded off. But does he feel better as well? I don´t think so.
Sara defends him against Grissom. That proves again what for a good person she is. Grissom on the other hand is harsh to him. Reason is the same old matter as in season 1. Greg´s music. Well, Grissom has a migraine. That explains partly why he is in such a bad mood. Grissom lectures Greg who snaps, "I know that, Grissom." *giggle* That serves you right.
Hodges cracks a joke but even this cynic softened towards our boy knowing what has happened to him. The best: "Good job, gas-hopper." Hilarious.
At the end Grissom is surprised because Greg´s idea to solve the case paid off. Grissom thanks him. Way to go, Greggo.
