He was flying, his heart was racing, a sensation beyond words. He was screaming with joy. Then, he felt wet, wet and sticky. He woke up in his bed, entangled in his blanket. He had come in his sleep. His heart was still beating hard and fast. He closed his eyes and tried to hold on the image, which had made him come. Grissom, giving him a special lesson - with his mouth.
A dream, yes, a wonderful dream, but only just another dream. He moaned, disappointed, and wrapped himself into the blanket to doze for a minute. But the dream was already fading. So he stood up and went to the bathroom to wash up.
He looked at his face in the mirror. Those dreams about Grissom made him hot and horny every night. They had to stop. Yes, he had a crush on Grissom since the first time he had seen him. But now his feelings had become almost unbearable. The fall into reality after every dream made him yet unhappier and lonelier. You will never be with Grissom. Stop dreaming.
Greg couldn´t know that Grissom had to cope with his own dreams. Every night, he was haunted by the same images: Greg Sanders dances through the lab. He wears a big smile. Seeing him Greg becomes shy. He lies injured on the floor. He pleads with shaking hands. He looks terribly sad.
Each morning Grissom woke up, he was more aroused than the morning before. It was pleasure and pain at the same time. Pain, because Greg was a co-worker, a subordinate, a man, who was almost twenty years younger than him. Rather a crazy boy than a man. Too young, too cute and too eccentric.
Grissom put his face into the pillow and tried to repress the excitement in his groin. As always, he tried without success. Embracing his horniness, he turned on his back, sliding his hand down to his hard aching cock and started to relieve himself. After only two minutes fantasizing about Greg, he came to a sweet and satisfying release.
Later at work, still thinking about Greg, he joined the team.
Catherine welcomed him with affection. "Hi Grissom! You are not looking good. Haven´t you slept well?"
Grissom cast her a very grim look. "I don´t know what you´re talking about, Catherine. I slept very well."
After he had turned his back on them the team smiled at each other.
The very same moment, Greg Sanders burst into the room. "Hello, everyone."
Grissom dared to look at Greg, who obviously hadn´t changed. Bright clothes, a funny haircut and big, brown eyes. Only the shadows under them were new.
Greg returned the look. His eyes were filled with pure admiration.
Quickly, Grissom looked the other way. He pulled himself together, and in a more than usual businesslike voice, he assigned them to the new cases. While the team was still discussing the details, Grissom took the chance to vanish to his office.
No one noticed but Greg.
Once, he was alone, Greg sat down at his desk and reconsidered the events over the last weeks. Released from the hospital, he kept one memory in his heart: A nice and warm-hearted Grissom, who had comforted him. This had been the best medicine to get him better. For a while, Grissom had been nicer to him than ever. But Grissom changed back quickly. Now he behaved even more reserved. Greg didn´t understand why.
One day, Greg had tried to ask Grissom what he had in mind to do about his hearing-problem. Grissom had given him no answer but a very cold look.
Later, some rumors were afloat in the lab that Grissom had had a surgery. Successful? Greg didn´t know and didn´t dare to ask anyone else about it. Jesus! What did I expect? A hug, some nice words? It´s Grissom for God´s sake. I´m really dreaming too much. Grissom doesn´t have feelings for anybody. Especially not for me, the lab boy. Am I out of my mind? I actually don´t believe he is gay. But, I don´t know for sure, because Grissom is hard to understand. He buried his face in his hands. Enough now! Just forget about it! Life goes on. I´m able to see Grissom at work every day. Enough time to adore him. That´s it! No matter what Michael had told me.
But Greg was mistaken. He didn´t see Grissom at work. In the following weeks, Grissom downright avoided him. Warrick, Sara or Nick brought him the samples and took the results. Greg´s disappointment turned into rage. He shouted at everybody and stopped joking around. He even sneaked out of doing overtime.
Nick was the first of his friends who confronted him directly. "What´s the matter with you, old buddy?"
"Nothing. Why are you asking?"
"I know the accident at the lab was very hard for you, but lately, you´re behaving strange."
Greg´s look was innocent. "Really? In what way?"
"As if you don´t care anymore. Neither about work nor about your friends."
"You are wrong. I didn´t change. I just learned my lesson. Nobody appreciates if I work my ass off. I just do my work and then I leave for home. Comprende?"
It was obvious that Greg was lying. Above all not very good. Nick was tempted to find out the truth. But not now. So he just left and went to Catherine to ask her for an advice.
"Oh, certainly I noticed his strange behavior. Nobody can ignore it. I even know what caused it," she said calmly.
They exchanged a meaningful look.
"It´s because of Grissom, isn´t it?" Nick dared to say.
Catherine was surprised. "You are a clever boy, Nicky, and a very good CSI. Grissom would be proud of you. Well, maybe he won´t in this case."
Nick smiled, flattered. "Greg behaves this way because Grissom never visits Greg´s lab anymore. He always sends us to get the results."
Cath nodded. "Exactly. Grissom´s appreciation was always most important to Greg. It kept him going from day one. But now, Greg lost it somehow and the question is why.
"Maybe Greg was too smart and made Grissom angry and now he has enough of Greg."
"No, I don´t think so. Grissom really likes Greg a lot. Even his joking around. He just won´t admit it. But he could never fool me. Don´t tell Grissom I told you that. He believes it´s his secret."
Nick laughed out loud. "Okay, I promise. But what could it be?"
Catherine sighed. "I know what it is. But I have to be very sensitive when I´ll decide to say anything in this matter. We are talking about Grissom here, who has the highest fences in the whole country."
"Yeah, that´s right. So, what we are gonna do?"
"Let me think about it. Maybe something will come up. Maybe I´ll find the right moment to talk to Grissom without getting his special It´s none of your business look."
Nick laughed again. "All of us know that look."
Without coming to a final solution, they went back to work.
