IT´S ABOUT:
A short story Collection.
MY OPINION:
This collection is not as good as "Night Shift", which is still the best King short story collection, but it includes a few stories which are the cream of the crop.
"The Gingerbread Girl", "The Cat from Hell", "N.", and "A very tight place" are suspenseful, creepy, sad, and brutal.
"The Gingerbread Girl" is best. I also enjoyed the audiobook, a fantastic read by Mare Winningham.
"A very tight place" is downright disgusting. It took me over a week to finish it, because it was so gross.
"N." is very disturbing. I got the collector´s set which includes the DVD with the story and I wasn´t able to watch it at night. The story made me questioning my own sanity.
The other stories are okay, not sensational, but interesting and well-written.
Just "The Stationary Bike" I find plain boring.
6/10
